BURTON VOLLEYBALL DROPS FINAL TWO MATCHES AT THE WALLER TOURNAMENT

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team dropped both of their matches on the final day of the Waller Tournament this past Saturday. 

Port Neches-Groves defeated Burton 2-0 (25-22 and 25-23). Madalyn Henry led the way with 12 kills and eight digs, Adison Harmel added 11 digs, Natalie Hodde chipped in with nine digs, and Laci Broesche finished with seven digs and 25 assists.

In the second match of the day, Burton lost Houston Christian 2-1. The Lady Panthers actually won the first set 25-19. However, Houston Christian came back and won the next two sets 25-17 and 25-21.

Madalyn Henry led the way with 11 kills and 12 digs. Meanwhile, Adison Harmel added 12 digs, and Laci Broesche dished out 22 assists.

Burton will be on the road at Brazos Christian tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 6pm.
