BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE KILLED IN GRIMES CO. CRASH
A Brenham High School graduate was killed in a crash last week between a pickup truck and a John Deere tractor in Grimes County.
The crash occurred on Wednesday, August 19th at approximately 6:45 a.m. at FM 149 and Fairview Cemetery Road.
According to DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz, a 2007 Chevrolet truck was traveling westbound on FM 149 when it reportedly failed to control its speed and struck the rear of the tractor, causing it to overturn.
The driver of the tractor, identified as 21-year-old Quinn Bosse of Washington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Investigation into the crash is ongoing, and it is not known if any charges will be filed or citations issued.
An online obituary for Bosse says the accident happened near his family’s ranch. A 2023 graduate of Brenham High School, Bosse was heading into his senior year at Sam Houston State University. He was on the Brenham Junior High School and Brenham High School golf teams and was involved in 4-H and FFA.
Funeral services are being held today (Tuesday) at First Baptist Church of Navasota. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Sam Houston State University Friends of Agricultural Sciences and to the Quinn Bosse Memorial Scholarship fund at Navasota Livestock Auction.
