CITY OF BRENHAM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SEEKING COMMUNITY SERVICES GRANT APPLICANTS
Applications are now open for the Community Services Grant program, through City of Brenham Economic Development.
Grant funding is available to local organizations that provide community services, promote a public purpose and serve the public good.
Organizations requesting funding for the 2026-27 application period must submit an online application by 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st.
While there is not an established minimum or maximum grant amount, the city says most successful applicants request money for smaller projects, programs or recurring overhead expenses.
Funding is administered by a Community Services Committee that consists of three city councilmembers, with the Economic and Community Development Director serving as the staff liaison.
Any organization selected to receive funding will be notified in writing of their award amount. Notifications and a check payable to the organization will go out in mid-January 2027.
