AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED FOR POSESSION OF MARIJUANA

  

Brenham Police arrested an Austin man Saturday night for possession of marijuana.  Police report that Saturday night at 10:30 Officer Jason Kasprowicz conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 block of South Day Street. Upon contact with the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected and a probable cause search was conducted. Further investigation revealed that the passenger of the vehicle, Khalil Thomas, 19, of Austin was found to be in possession of Marijuana. The passenger was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
