DISTRICT LIONS CLUB HONORS WASHINGTON COUNTY WOMEN’S LIONS CLUB PRESIDENT

  

A Washington County Ladies Lions Club leader has won a prestigious award from that service organization.

Joe Al Picone of the Brenham Lions Club says Laverne Krumrey,  the first and current president of the Washington County Ladies Lions Club, has won  the E.B. ‘Tex’ Mayor Award.

The award was given to Krumrey at the District Convention of the Lions Club this Saturday.  Picone presented the award again Monday at the Cannery Kitchen.
