JILL WOLFSKILL TALKS ABOUT HER CAMPAIGN

This week, KWHI is talking with the 5 candidates that are running for the Republican nomination for the District 13 State Representative seat.   Today, we are talking with Austin County resident Jill Wolfskill.  Wolfskill says she has been very busy with her campaign:

Wolfskill says she has been out building relationships with people in the district and finding out what their concerns are.  She says that two issues are at the top of everyone’s list:

Governor Greg Abbott has set a special election for May 5th to fill the unexpired term of former District 13 State Representative Leighton Schubert.  Wolfskill filed on Tuesday for that election also. She says that it is important for a candidate to do well in the primary election if they expect to be elected in the special election:

Early voting concludes on Friday for the Primary Election.  Election Day is Tuesday, March 6th.  KWHI will bring you the election results as they happen beginning when the polls close at 7:00 PM on March 6th.
