BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMET RESPONDS TO ACCIDENT FRIDAY

  

Two people had to be cut free from a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 290 West of Brenham Friday morning.

Shortly after 9:30 Friday morning, two vehicles collided on Highway 290 at Old Burton Road.  The Brenham Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to remove both front doors on a truck involved in the accident, freeing two people.  Firemen assisted the Washington County EMS with the patients and used dry absorbent on the fluids spilled on the highway.
