COMMISSIONERS COURT TO RECOGNIZE WASHINGTON CO. HISTORICAL COMMISSION

  

The Washington County Historical Commission is being recognized at Tuesday’s Commissioners Court meeting.

The WCHC will receive a distinguished service award from the Texas Historical Commission for accomplishments in last years’ service.

The Commissioners Court will discuss a Re-Plat of Poehlmann Development out of the Isaac Jameison Survey, fronting US Highway 290 Frontage Road.

The Court will also look at formal notices for temporary water lines to be placed within the county.  Enervest Operating Company is requesting a water line be placed within the right of way of Rehburg Road, Post Oak Road and Christian Cemetery Road, while the Verdun Oil Company is asking for one to be placed on Brandt Road, Latium Cemetery Road and Eckermann Road.

The Court will also receive the Washington County 911 monthly report and the Treasurer’s monthly financial report.  In addition, the Court will look at reports from the district and county clerks, justices of the peace, the auditor and tax assessor, constables, the Emergency Management Coordinator, and Washington County Fairgrounds Management.

The Court will conclude with discussion of budget line-item transfers and amendments.  The Court meets Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Washington County Courthouse Chambers.
