SNOOK CONVENIENCE STORE BURGLARY UNDER INVESTIGATION BY STATE FIRE MARSHAL

  

Investigation of the Snook Drive-In burglary and destruction has been turned over to a state agency.

The fire portion of the investigation is now being handled by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.  The criminal investigation has been changed from attempted burglary to burglary, with several agencies investigating.

Last week, someone attempted to back their truck into the convenience store off of County Road 265 and FM 2155.  When first responders arrived at the scene, both the business and the truck were engulfed in flames.  No injuries were reported.

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office has listed several suspects in the case, and is looking for information regarding any vehicles or subjects seen in the area during the fire.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 979-567-4343, or Crime Stoppers at 979-567-8477.
