“SOUNDS OF THE SEASON” COMING TO ROUND TOP SATURDAY
Blinn College’s Choirs and Wind Symphony will come together this weekend to fill the Festival Hill Concert Hall in Round Top with the “Sounds of the Season”.
Taking place Saturday at 3 p.m., the performance will feature both Blinn instrumental and vocal students, directed by Dr. Paulo Gomes and Dr. Sarah Burke.
Dr. Burke, Blinn Director of Bands, says she and Dr. Gomes wanted to utilize the talents of each musical program.
Both the choir and instrumental programs will give solo performances, before coming together to play John Rutter’s “The Gift of Life”.
Dr. Burke hopes to see more performances like this in the future.
