CUBS NAMED HOUSTON 5A BASEBALL ‘TEAM OF THE WEEK’

The 2019 baseball season is just a week old, and the Brenham Cubs have already received an honor.

The Cubs have been named Houston 5A Baseball Texas Prep team of the week.

The Cubs were 6-0 last week, with a season opening win over Elgin, then five straight wins at the Round Rock Hardball Classic.

The Cubs out-scored their opponents 44-10 over the week.

The Cubs will host their half of the Brenham/Montgomery tournament Thursday-thru-Saturday.
