BRENHAM ISD, LAW ENFORCEMENT INVESTIGATING JUNIOR HIGH TEACHER
Brenham ISD has released a statement regarding the investigation of a Brenham Junior High School teacher.
Letters were sent out to junior high parents earlier this month, informing them that a male teacher had been placed on administrative leave after school officials learned of complaints against him.
The statement from Junior High Principal Bryan Bryant reads the school district is “cooperating fully with local law enforcement as these allegations are investigated”. It also says the classroom has “been staffed with a long-term substitute for the remainder of the year”.
School officials could not say why the teacher is being investigated or what complaints have been raised, stating “as this is a personnel matter and the complaints are currently under investigation, the district is not able to provide further information at this time”.
