APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR MAY MINIMESTER, SUMMER HOUSING AT BLINN-BRENHAM

  

Applications are now available for students seeking on-campus housing during the May minimester and summer terms.

To be eligible for student housing, applicants must be registered for a minimum of three credit hours during the May minimester and four credit hours during the Summer I and Summer II terms. There is a $50 application fee.

All May minimester and summer campus residents will reside in Mill Creek Hall, Blinn’s residence hall. This 464-bed facility features four-bed, two-bath and two-bed, one-bath suites. Each suite includes a common area with sofa and TV, microwave, mini-fridge, sink, as well as cable TV, internet, and wifi access. The hall also includes community and study rooms on each floor, free laundry machines, and a vending lounge.

The May minimester runs Monday, May 17, through Wednesday, June 2. Through the minimester, students can earn full course credit in just a few weeks. These accelerated minimester courses are offered online and cover the same material as a full-length course.

Check-in for May minimester housing takes place between 9 a.m. and noon on Sunday, May 16, and rooms are $435 for the term. Check-out takes place between 9 a.m. and noon on Wednesday, June 2.

Summer I classes run Monday, June 7, through Tuesday, July 6, and housing check-in takes place Sunday, June 6, between 9 a.m. and noon. Summer II classes run Monday, July 12, through Monday, Aug. 9, and housing check in takes place Sunday, Aug. 12, between 9 a.m. and noon. Summer rates are $700 per term. Meal plans provide 15 meals per week, Monday through Friday, and are $400 per term.
