BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ELECTS CHAIR, VICE-CHAIR

  

The Brenham Board of Adjustment elected its board officers for 2021 at its meeting Monday.

Board members voted unanimously to reappoint Jon Hodde as the board chair and Thomas Painter as the vice chair.

The board then unanimously approved a pair of items, one being a special exemption to allow a three-foot wide side yard setback—where a minimum of ten feet is required—for an accessory dwelling unit at a home at 311 East Main Street.

The other item approved was a variance to allow the existing 100-foot lot depth—where 115 feet is normally the minimum—for lots located at 707 and 709 Campbell Street in an unrecorded subdivision.
