FOOD MANAGER CERTIFICATION TRAINING JUNE 21, 22 AT WASHINGTON CO. EXPO
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is offering a professional food manager certification training course later this month in Brenham.
The two-day course will be held on June 21st and 22nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the VIP Building at the Washington County Expo.
By attending the course, foodservice managers will learn about the safe handling of food. Topics that will be covered include foodborne illnesses and how they are caused, food safety hazards and sanitation regulations.
Cost for the program is $125, and includes training, materials and a national food manager certification examination. The food manager’s certification will be valid anywhere in the state of Texas for five years. The deadline to register is Monday, June 14th.
