‘POLO’ NAMED PET OF THE DAY
“Polo” is the Brenham Pet Adoption Center’s Pet of the Day today (Wednesday).
Polo is a neutered adult mixed breed dog favoring border collie and possibly husky. He is one of the shelter’s longest residents, having been there since February 8th.
Brenham Animal Services staff say Polo is learning to master “sit” on command and is a quick study. He is a larger dog with lots of energy and would thrive with room to run, whether on property, a hiking trail or in a fenced yard.
Potential pet adopters or fosters can go online to www.petfinder.com to see the shelter’s available pets. They can make appointments to meet a pet by calling 979-337-7351, or by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page. The shelter is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
