BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED FOR INJURY TO A CHILD
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham woman was arrested Tuesday by local and state authorities on a charge of Injury to a Child.
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies and Texas Rangers arrested 24-year-old Chandler Renee Horak.
According to Sheriff Otto Hanak, the arrest comes after a recent grand jury indictment relating to injuries sustained by Horak’s infant son on March 6, 2020.
Horak was transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked and charged with Injury to a Child/Elderly Individual/Disabled Person with Intent to Cause Serious Bodily Injury/Mental Deficiency.
Horak has been released on $25,000 bond.
