HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM AFTER REFUSING TO STOP FOR POLICE

A Houston man faces charges after his arrest Friday night.
Just before 8:00 p.m., local police attempted to pull over a pickup in the 3600 block of US 290 West, due to an equipment violation.
The vehicle initially refused to pull over, eventually coming to a stop.
The driver, 68-year-old Juan Tzoc-Tax of Houston was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle. He was also issued several traffic violations.
Tzoc-Tax was then taken to the Washington County Jail.
