Two Austin men were arrested Friday morning in Fayette County on drug and weapon charges.

Fayette County deputies stopped a Hyundai passenger car on Highway 71 westbound near Zapalac Road, west of Ellinger, for a traffic violation.  The vehicle was occupied by two male passengers and a female driver, who admitted to having drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

After deputies identified the subjects, they found that one of the men had an active warrant out of Pflugerville for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
