ONE TRANSPORTED AFTER ROLLOVER NEAR NAVASOTA
One person was hospitalized after a rollover accident early this (Wednesday) morning east of Navasota.
The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 105 at County Road 415.
According to DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz, a 2008 Dodge pickup traveling west on Highway 105 drifted into the eastbound lane, where it sideswiped an 18-wheeler. The pickup rolled over several times before stopping in the roadway.
The driver of the pickup, 26-year-old Gene Stobo of Huntsville, was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Bryan in unknown condition.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
Both lanes of the highway were shut down for over an hour as first responders worked to clear the scene.
