SEAL COAT OPERATIONS BEGIN WEDNESDAY ON HIGHWAY 105
CREWS TO WORK ON HIGHWAY BETWEEN BUSINESS 290, FM 1155
A TxDOT contractor will begin seal coat operations this week along an 18.25 mile stretch of Highway 105.
Starting Wednesday, seal coating will take place on the highway from where it intersects with Business 290 in downtown Brenham, at the edge of East Alamo Street, to where it meets FM 1155 near Old Washington.
Drivers can expect delays and various lane closures throughout the operation. They are encouraged to plan for extra travel time through the area or seek other routes.
The project is contracted to Cox Paving of Texas, Inc. for $1.9 million, and is expected to be complete by September 3rd.
