WEEK TWO OF EARLY VOTING BEGINS; EXTENDED HOURS AT COURTHOUSE ANNEX

  

The second week of early voting gets underway today (Monday) for the constitutional amendment election and Burton ISD bond election.

Voters will have extended hours today and tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Washington County Courthouse Annex from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the constitutional amendment election.  Regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. return Wednesday through Friday.

So far, there have been 436 early voters in the constitutional amendment election.

Fifty-four people voted during Burton ISD’s weekend voting hours, 22 on Saturday and 32 on Sunday.  There have been 235 early voters for the bond election.

Early voting hours at the Burton High School auditorium are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Wednesday and Friday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow and Thursday.
