TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

  

Two people were arrested on outstanding warrants in separate traffic stops Saturday.

Brenham Police report that Saturday at 11:50 AM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 West. The investigation revealed that the driver, Marina Janelle Najera, 25 of Brenham, had one felony warrant for Aggravated Robbery and two class C warrants for running a stop sign and no driver’s license. Najera was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County jail for booking.

Then at 10:15 PM Saturday, Officers with the Brenham Police Department initiated a traffic stop near the 3400 block of Highway 290 East. An investigation was conducted and the driver, Mitchell Ray Wilson, 43 of Brenham, was taken into custody for 3 active capias pro fine warrants.
