KELLER TO TAKE THE REIGNS AT GERMANIA INSURANCE
Germania Insurance has found the person they believe will lead their company into the future.
Germania has announced that Brandon Keller, who has been with the company for eighteen years, is being promoted to President and CEO.
Keller received unanimous approval from the Board of Directors, and will take over the reigns from current President and CEO, Paul Ehlert, on May 17.
Ehlert had informed the Board in 2021 of his intentions to retire after having lead Germania for the past ten years.
Keller will be the eighth president of Germania since they began operations in 1896.
Keller is a 1995 graduate of the University of Florida, and then went on to the American Academy of Actuaries in 1997. He also became a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society in 1998.
For those that may not know, an actuary is a person who compiles and analyzes statistics and uses them to calculate insurance risks and premiums.
Keller joined Germania in 2004 as a corporate actuary.
He was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2006, and then promoted again to Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary in 2017.
Keller and his wife, Jill, live in Brenham with their two children, Erin and Aiden.
