BRENHAM ISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO MEET ON TUESDAY NIGHT
The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will have several topics of discussion during their next meeting on Tuesday night.
They are going to consider conducting a structural assessment of the Brenham Junior High School. The Junior High was a big portion of the bond issue that was voted down in last month's election.
The board is also going to get an update on safety and security. They are then going to consider the purchase of lockdown low profile floor pits for campus and office security.
In addition to that, board members will be considering the approval compensation handbook for the 2022-2023 school year, as well as using funds to purchase vehicles for the CTE Department and the Special Education Department.
The board will close the meeting by going into executive session to discuss hiring campus principals for Brenham Middle School and Krause Elementary School, and an assistant principal for Alton Elementary School.
The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees meet Tuesday at 6pm at Brenham High School. The meetings are normally on Monday nights, but were pushed back a day due to the Juneteenth holiday on Monday.
