BELLVILLE’S EMMANUEL SANDERS RETIRES AFTER 12 SEASONS IN THE NFL

Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders announced his retirement from the NFL yesterday (Wednesday).
Sanders, who is a former standout at Bellville High School and SMU , played for 12 seasons.
The 35-year-old spent the bulk of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos, but also had short stints with the San Francisco 49ers, the New Orleans Saints, and spent last year with the Buffalo Bills.
Sanders was a two-time Pro Bowler, and part of the Broncos Super Bowl 50 Championship Team.
He finishes his career with 704 catches for 9,245 yards and 51 touchdowns.
