CITY/COUNTY/SCHOOL CLOSINGS FOR GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER WEEKEND

  

Many City and County offices are closed today for Good Friday.

For the city of Brenham closings Friday thru Sunday include City Hall, Municipal Court, the Blue Bell Aquatic Center, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library.

The Brenham/Washington County Visitor Center, and the Pet Adoption Center and Animal Services Department will be closed Easter Sunday only.

The BVR Collection and Transfer Station, as well as the Recycling Center, will be open regular hours.

Residential and commercial trash pickup will proceed as normal.

The Washington County Courthouse and Blinn College are closed today thru Sunday. They will be back open on Monday.

For the local schools, Brenham ISD, Burton ISD, and St. Paul’s Christian Day School are closed thru Tuesday.  Classes will resume on Wednesday next week.

Grace Lutheran School and First Baptist School are closed thru Monday, and will resume classes on Tuesday.

Area school districts closed today thru Monday, and returning to class on Tuesday include:

Bellville, Sealy, Hempstead, Navasota, Caldwell, La Grange, Round Top-Carmine, Fayetteville, Iola, Richards, Bryan, College Station, Somerville, Snook, and Anderson-Shiro.

School Districts that are only getting today off, and have to be back on Monday include:

Waller, Mumford, and Giddings.
