BECKENDORF TO CONTINUE SOFTBALL CAREER AT BLINN

Another member of the Brenham Cubette Softball Team’s incoming senior class has made a decision on her post high school plans.

Annie Beckendorf announced her commitment this (Tuesday) morning to continue her softball playing career as a member of the Blinn Buccaneers.

Beckendorf is a three-year starter on the varsity for the Cubettes, who has spent time at both third base and catcher.

The last two seasons as a sophomore and junior, she has been an Honorable Mention All District Selection, while playing in one of the state’s most competitive softball districts. 

Beckendorf has also made the Academic All-District Team in all three of her seasons with the Cubettes. 

She has been one of the key components that has helped Brenham make the playoffs the last three straight years.

Beckendorf will join Cubette teammate Halle Scheel, who announced last week that she is also going to be heading to Blinn.
