MAGNOLIA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DWI

  

A DWI arrest was made on a Magnolia woman Wednesday.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday night at 9:15, Officer Matthew Brown was dispatched to a welfare concern at the 200 block of Highway 290 East.  A caller reported a person has been in the vehicle for the past two days. Upon the officer’s arrival, they found the vehicle occupied by a person in the driver’s seat slumped over the steering wheel while the vehicle was running. Further investigation revealed several open alcoholic containers inside the vehicle. The occupant, Colleen Elizabeth Dougan, 29 of Magnolia, was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container. She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
