BRENHAM FUSION UNIT ARREST ONE IN STOLEN VEHICLE CASE
The Brenham Fusion Unit, in conjunction with the Brookshire Police Department, apprehended a suspect in a stolen vehicle case here Wednesday morning.
The suspect, thirty-three year old Waylan Kennedy, was wanted in connection with an incident that occurred March 27.
The victim told police at that time that someone had stolen his Lincoln Continental. Communications advised Brenham police that the vehicle had been located in Brookshire.
Brookshire police were able to identify the suspect as Kennedy, who is a resident of Brookshire, and the Fusion Unit made the arrest Wednesday morning.
Kennedy was brought back to Washington County jail and bond was set at $40,000.
