PORTION OF OLD CHAPPELL HILL ROAD TO CLOSE STARTING THURSDAY FOR ROADWORK

  

A section of Old Chappell Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning on Thursday.

Washington County Engineering and Development Services says the road will be shut down roughly around the address of 8009 Old Chappell Hill Road to the FM 2447 intersection.  This is so road and bridge crews can perform roadwork from FM 2447 to the bridge near 10277 Old Chappell Hill Road.

The closure will last from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Thursday and Friday, as well as next Monday through Wednesday, September 9-11. 

The county will detour traffic on FM 2447 and down Bluebonnet Boulevard.  Access will be allowed for residents that live in the closed portion and for emergency personnel.
