WEEK TWO OF EARLY VOTING BEGINS WITH OVER 9,100 VOTERS THUS FAR

  

Over 9,100 people have voted early so far in Washington County heading into the second week of early voting.

Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports there have been 9,159 voters through seven days, including 1,081 on Saturday and 615 on Sunday.  According to Jackson, that turnout is about 33 percent of registered voters.

This week, the Washington County Courthouse Annex will have extended hours, as it will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Monday) through Friday.  There will not be weekend hours.

Election Day is next Tuesday, November 5th.
