CITIZENS STATE BANK CELEBRATES 100 YEARS AT CUSTOMER APPRECIATION EVENT IN BRENHAM

Citizens State Bank hosted large crowds today (Friday) at its Brenham branch as part of CSB’s ongoing celebration of 100 years of service.

Customers and the general public were treated to a day of food, refreshments and giveaways, all in commemoration of the founding of CSB in Somerville in 1925.

CSB Executive Vice President and Brenham Branch President Cory Flencher says the bank appreciates being part of a close-knit community and being able to support the community’s growth.

Guests enjoyed coffee from Forbidden Coffee Company out of Grimes County, donuts from Max Donuts, barbecue sandwiches from LJ’s BBQ, snacks from Brenham Charcuterie Boards, and dessert from Kountry Boys, Smitty’s Café and Bakery, and Blue Bell Ice Cream.  KTEX-106 was on hand to offer spins of the Wagon Wheel of Prizes for themed merchandise and event tickets.

CSB Marketing Director Kentra Wiatrek says today’s turnout exceeded the bank’s expectations and that they are thrilled to have the chance to show their thanks in this way.

Additional customer appreciation events will be held at each of CSB’s other branch locations, leading up to a block party at the original Somerville location on June 6th.
