The first game was a classic pitchers duel between the Harper Longhorns and the Burton Panthers. It was a defensive battle that remained scoreless up until the bottom of the sixth inning. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the longhorns were able to capitalize on an error by the outfield for a 1 run lead. But from there the Burton Panthers were able to bounce back by scoring five runs in the top of the seventh and were able to hold onto that lead through the bottom of the seventh for a game one victory.

The second game started off with a bit more offense than the first. The Harper Longhorn's opened up the scoring in the top of the first inning with a solo home run, and again the Burton Panthers responded immediately with a two run bottom of the second. Both teams continued to exchange shots for the next few innings with a score of four runs to two in favor of the Panthers going into the bottom of the fifth. At this point, the Panthers were able to put their foot on the gas and run away with the game after an eight run bottom of the fifth inning resulted in a mercy rule in favor of the Panthers.  

The Burton Panthers await their opponent in the Region Semi Finals, they will face the winner of Flatonia and Freer.
