BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TWO CALLS

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of calls, one on Monday, and another earlier this (Tuesday) morning.

BFD personnel were dispatched to 713 Gayhill Street on Monday just after 8:30am for illegal burning. Firefighters found a resident burning in the back yard. BFD advised the resident of the city ordinance, and it was extinguished.  

Then shortly after midnight, BFD personnel were dispatched to 807 West Second Street. Firefighters made the location to find trouble with the alarm system. They advised the manager to contact the alarm company, and then returned to service.
