BRENHAM CUBS CLINCH PLAYOFF BERTH WIN OVER COLLEGE STATION
For the third time in his three seasons at the helm of the Brenham Cub Basketball Team, Head Coach Colby Andrews is taking his squad to the playoffs.
The Brenham Cubs defeated the College Station Cougars 55-37 last (Friday) night to clinch their spot in the playoffs.
Quincy Adams led Brenham with 13 points, while Jayden Hebert added 11 points, and Roderick Martin finished with ten points.
The Cubs have finished their regular season schedule, and due to the uneven number of teams, they will next have a bye. The rest of the district will finish out their regular season games on Tuesday.
Brenham, Lake Creek, Huntsville, and A&M Consolidated have clinched the four playoff spots. Now they are playing for positioning.
