The Washington County Fair celebrated the crowning Wednesday night of the new Little and Junior Mister and Miss.

The Little Mister and Miss are John Owen Henk and Emerson Nedbalek. The Junior Mister and Miss are Blayne Baker and Brooklyn Randermann.
Today’s (Thursday) events begin at 7 a.m. with the Senior Day Breakfast, followed by the commercial steer awards at 8 a.m. The Champion Drive, which provides a fair experience for local students with special needs, starts at 9:30 a.m.
Today is Senior and Special Citizens Day at the fair, with discounted daytime entry for attendees 60 and older.

The scramble heifer show will be held at 1:30 p.m., then the commercial halter heifer show at 3 p.m. The scramble heifer banquet will be at 6 p.m.
Tonight will also have rodeo and mutton bustin’ events, country creations, carnival games and rides, and music from Triston Marez at 8 p.m. and Midland at 10 p.m.
KWHI and KTEX-106 will continue bringing live reports from the fair, including from 10 a.m. to noon on KWHI and from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on KTEX-106.
