KRISTOPHER GORE NAMED VISIT BRENHAM’S NEW DESTINATION MANAGER
The City of Brenham and Visit Brenham welcome Kristopher Gore as the new Destination Manager.
Gore, who started his new role on October 12th, will work to help strengthen tourism partnerships, support local businesses and share what makes Brenham and Washington County a special place to visit.
After moving to Brenham at age 9, Gore spent 23 years with H-E-B, working his way from lot attendant to beer and wine manager. He later expanded his professional experience in the insurance industry. The City of Brenham says Gore has deep roots in Brenham and a passion for the community, and that he “brings a unique combination of local knowledge, relationship-building, and customer service experience to this role.”
City Manager Megan Mainer says Gore “has a genuine connection to Brenham and the people who make our community what it is.” She adds, “Tourism is about more than attracting visitors. It’s about building relationships, supporting local businesses, and sharing the stories that make our community unique. Kris understands that, and we’re excited to see his leadership help Visit Brenham continue to grow.”
Gore says he is excited for the opportunity to serve and to use his experience to work with local tourism partners in “showcasing the history, character, and hospitality of the area.”
