LIFETIME LEARNING HOLDING NEXT LUNCHEON IN NOVEMBER

  

The next Lifetime Learning Luncheon in Brenham will welcome a special guest author to discuss his book.

The luncheon, which is being held on November 6, will feature Evan Taniguchi, and the book, “The Isamu Taniguchi Japanese Garden.”

Taniguchi will speak about the profound backstory, structural symbolism, and design principles of the Garden, which is located in Austin.

At age seventy, his grandfather Isamu, who had been detained at the Crystal City internment camp during World War II, created the Japanese Garden at Zilker Park.

All are welcome for lunch and learning from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Cannery Kitchen located at 314 East Alamo Street.

The cost to attend is $25.
