CITY OF BRENHAM REMINDS RESIDENTS OF PROPER LIMB DISPOSAL FROM LAST STORM

City of Brenham’s Public Works Director Dane Rau wants individual homeowners to know that the City will be placing notifications on individual homeowner’s doors to remind them of their options for yard debris.

Rau says the City of Brenham is still seeing quite a number of small limbs and yard debris stacked by the curbs from Tropical Storm Bill, and wants to remind residents that there will NOT be a “City-Wide limb pickup,” and that the limbs or brush will need to be transported to the Brenham Collection Station by the individual homeowner or a third-party contractor.

Services for large yard debris and bulky limb pickup is offered by the City of Brenham on occasion, and when the entire city at large is affected.

Residents may bring the brush or yard debris to the Citizens Collection Station at no cost. This applies to residents only, not commercial vendors.

The Citizens Collection Station is located at 2009 Old Chappell Hill Road. You may contact them at 979-337-7455.
