BLUE BELL ALABAMA PLANT UP AND RUNNING

  

The Blue Bell Creameries plant in Alabama is up and running, and is one step closer to getting ice cream back on the shelves.

The company tweeted on Wednesday that “Today our machines are cranked up and we began evaluating our enhanced production processes.”

The company is working hard to get their products back on the shelves after a voluntary recall on all its products in April, after ten people in four states, including Texas became ill from listeria.

There were three deaths attributed to the listeria outbreak.

Blue Bell has not yet set a date for full production to restock store shelves.
