SALEM ROAD NOW OPEN COMPLETELY AFTER NATURAL GAS PUMP CONCERN

The roads in the area of 4500 Salem Road have been reopened by the  Salem Volunteer Fire Department after a concern about a natural gas pump that reportedly began making noises around 6:30am Saturday morning.

According to reports, the sound coming from the pump was just pressure releasing due to the cold weather.

The fire department stayed on the scene to wait  for a gas technician from the company to arrive on the scene to investigate, and opened the road back up a little after 8am.
