WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS DISCUSS OBTAINING A LIEN FOR LOCAL PROPERTY

  

The Washington County Commissioners will discuss obtaining a lien for a property in Washington Texas to cover expenses the county incurred for the removal of an abandoned house at their regular meeting tomorrow morning (Tuesday). The 8 acre property is located at 17365 FM 912 in north-east Washington County.

The commissioners will also discuss the Local Governments Solutions contract for case management backup for the County Attorney’s office.

Also on the agenda for tomorrow’s (Tuesday) meeting are several proclamations. The Commissioners will look at proclaiming March 10^th as Geocaching Day and March 7^th through 12^th as Boys and Girls Club Week in Washington County.

Several reports are also scheduled for the meeting including the Washington County Conventions and Visitors Bureau’s quarterly report and a presentation by the Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool.

With tomorrow (Tuesday) being Election Day and the Commissioners courtroom being in use for the election, the meeting has been relocated. The meeting is scheduled for 9am at the Courthouse Annex across the street from the courthouse.
