THREE FIRE DEPARTMENTS BATTLE ROUND TOP FIRE
Saturday morning around 11:15am the Round Top – Warrenton Fire Departments responded to a reported fire on FM 1457 near Mayer Cemetery Road in the Round Top area. Upon arrival the building, being used for storage, was reportedly fully engulfed in flames. Assistance was requested from the Fayetteville and Carmine Fire Departments for additional water tank trucks and manpower.
The fire was contained and no injuries were reported. The fire is believed to have started from citronella candles.

What a shame. My experience with Citronella candles – the mosquitoes bask it their glow, after sucking your blood.
