GIDDINGS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BANQUET
The Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the award winners for its upcoming Community Awards and Chamber Banquet on August 16th.
Denice Harlan, Executive Director of the Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce, announces that Rhonda Mitschke has been named the Outstanding Citizen of the Year. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Tootsie Tomanetz; Outstanding Business of the Year – The Nitsche Group; Outstanding Civic Organization of the Year – The Wendish Society; and Outstanding Youth Organization of the Year – The Lee County Fair Association Youth Board.
This year’s award winners will be recognized at the banquet on Tuesday, August 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Landmark Event Center. “Engineering Prosperity for Giddings” is the title for the banquet, and this Friday, August 5th, is the deadline to reserve tickets for the event.
