LAST DAY TO ENTER BRENHAM’S “SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA”

  

Today (Monday) is the last day to enter Downtown Brenham’s “Scarecrow Extravaganza” contest.

The annual tradition is in its 13th year, but is in danger of being cancelled because of low participation.

Downtown Brenham businesses have put up $1150 in cash prizes for the “Scarecrow Extravaganza”.  Winners are decided by popular voting and by judges.  The overall winner would receive $250 cash provided by radio stations KWHI 1280 and KTEX 106.1.  Each of the category winners would receive $150 cash.  They include:
