FATAL ACCIDENT SOUTH OF NAVASOTA
A Grimes County man is dead following a traffic accident south of Navasota Monday morning.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. a 1997 Saturn collided with a Ford F350 pick up at the intersection of Highway 6 and FM 2 outside of Navasota.
The driver of the Saturn, 21-year old Paul William Beach of Plantersville was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to DPS, Beach pulled into the intersection in dense fog, directly into the path of the pickup.
The driver of the truck refused medical assistance.
DPS says they worked a slew of accidents across the Brazos Valley this morning, due to the thick fog.
