LAVENDER RIDE FOR CANCER HAPPENING THIS SATURDAY

  

Motorcyclists will be revving their engines this Saturday for the 2nd Annual Lavender Ride for Cancer in Caldwell.

The ride is put on by the M.D. Walk for Cancer organization. Lavender Ride organizer, Jody Hammond, explains what the ride is all about:

The event starts at the VFW in Caldwell on Highway 36 at noon. The ride will then continue on to Gigi’s on LBJ Drive, and Fort Halfmoon on Park Road 4, Taters on Park Road 57.  The event will end at the Deanville Bar and Grill on Highway 60. Riders will arrive at 4 p.m. and there will be an auction at 5 p.m. All members of the community are invited to come out and support the cause.
