NAVASOTA VETERANS DAY PARADE THIS SATURDAY
The Navasota Veterans Day Parade will happen this Saturday. 
It is the largest Veterans Parade in the Brazos Valley and will feature the Texas State Guard, a US Army Blackhawk landing, a 1970 Vietnam gun truck, motorcycle clubs, and various veterans groups.
The Grand Marshal will be Robert Falkenbury, a World War II veteran who enlisted with the Marines at age 17. Falkenbury was awarded the Bronze Star and achieved the rank of sergeant while he was enlisted. He has resided in Anderson for nearly 60 years.
The Navasota Veterans Day Parade will kick off at 10:30 a.m. from Brosig Street and proceed down Washington Avenue.
