THREE ARRESTED IN SCHULENBURG DRUG BUST
Three people were arrested on Friday after an investigation found that narcotics were being sold out of a home in Schulenburg.
Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that after an extensive investigation with the assistance of the Schulenburg Police Department, a search warrant was issued for the residence.
Authorities found nearly 50 grams of powder and crack cocaine, with a street value of approximately $5,000.00, located inside the home. Marijuana and miscellaneous pieces of drug paraphernalia were also found.
18-year-old Jamira Houston and 42-year-old Kathy Houston, both of Schulenburg, were arrested for possession of marijuana. 38-year-old Ray Houston, also of Schulenburg, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Justice of the Peace Precinct Four Judge Dan Mueller set the three bonds which total $5,000.
